I'm a twenty-one-year-old architecture student at the Politecnico di Torino, with a background in photography that started long before the drafting table did.

I first picked up a camera in 2019, but it was a year spent in Vancouver that changed everything - the city, the nature, the light, the scale of it all pushed my photography in a direction I hadn't expected. I came back with a different eye and a much harder time sitting still.

Architecture followed in 2023. What drew me to it was the same thing that draws me to a good photograph: the desire to leave something tangible behind. Both disciplines are, in the end, about shaping how people experience the world around them - one frame at a time, or one building at a time.

I've had the chance to work in the field too - interning at a construction company in Vancouver in 2024, and currently gaining more experience closer to home. The gap between drawing and building is something I'm always trying to close.

Travel is a constant. From the Americas, through Europe, to Africa - moving through different places and cultures has shaped the way I see architecture and frame a photograph as much as any school or studio has.

Outside of work: cars, music - both have been with me longer than any camera or sketchbook. Lately, videography has been pulling at me, too. The moving image feels like the next natural step.
