luca piseth beltramo

Is a twenty-two-year-old graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Politecnico di Torino, with a background in photography that started long before the drafting table did.

He first picked up a camera in 2019, but it was a year spent in Vancouver that changed everything - the city, the nature, the light, the scale of it all pushed his photography in a direction he hadn't expected. He came back with a different eye and a much harder time sitting still.

Architecture followed in 2023. What drew him to it was the same thing that draws him to a good photograph: the desire to leave something tangible behind. Both disciplines are, in the end, about shaping how people experience the world around them - one frame at a time, or one building at a time.

He had the chance to work in the field too - interning at a construction company in Vancouver in 2024, followed by an Internship in 2026 at the prestigious firm ELASTICOFarm in Torino, led by architect Stefano Pujatti. There, Luca gained more experience closer to home. The gap between drawing and building is something he is always trying to close.
Luca now works and resides in Amsterdam, NL, where he works for Karl Lagerfeld as a Store Development and Facility Maintenance intern. He is also pursuing, at the same time, a Master of Science in Architecture for Sustainability at PoliTo.

Travel is a constant. From the Americas, through Europe, to Africa - moving through different places and cultures has shaped the way he sees architecture and frames a photograph as much as any school or studio has.

Outside of work: cars, music - both have been with him longer than any camera or sketchbook. Lately, videography has been pulling at him, too. The moving image feels like the next natural step.
